My Week in Review

Quick note here, as we are spending lots of time in the parks. Walt Disney World is fun, as always, but it's hot! I just sweat a lot and look like a hot mess, but at least I have good company. Thank you, to everyone who entered my giveaway, and to all the birthday love!

What I Read Last Week

As always, Jenn Bennett came through. I absolutely adored The Anatomical Shape of a Heart, and cannot wait for her next YA release. One Day in December was also a huge hit for me. I really like book, that span many years, because my attachment to the characters is so strong.

  1. I've never been to a Disney park - and now, I'm afraid of heights, so I won't be going any time soon.

I hope you'll enjoy your new books - and that next week will be wonderful.

    1. I will probably be starting this evening, because I should finish my book on the plane. I guess I forgot how hot and crowded it gets at WDW since I was last here 4 years ago, but it's still magical.

I’m so bummed that I didn’t have a chance to read (One Day in December) at all this weekend! It was a super busy weekend and I just never had a chance to sit down and read. *sobs* But I sure am loving what I’ve read so far! Laurie and Jack kissed!!!! I was swooning all over the place. But now she’s about to leave for Thailand? Gah!

    1. Disney was fun, hot and crowded, but still fun. I loved the part in Thailand, and what transpired after it, and like I said, I was up and down emotionally. I was happy with where their lives took them, even though I wanted them to also be together. The ending is worth all the frustration.

    2. Now I just want to go home and reeeeeaaaad! Hee hee.

    3. I had a big cry before Thailand and a bit after Thailand. I was just really entrenched in their lives.

    4. Well I managed just a few more pages last night. She's back from Thailand and meeting Oliver's mother for the first time. Yikes. I don't see this going well.

    1. Fun! We were there 4 years ago, so not too long ago, but we have decided if we do a Disney park again, we would go back to Cali. Next year, we are doing the Disney halloween cruise. We both hate the heat, and it was hot the whole week we were there.
