Can't-Wait Wednesday: Listen to Your Heart - Kasie West

Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week I can't wait for Listen to Your Heart!

Listen to Your Heart
Kasie West
Series: n/a
Release Date: May 29, 2018
Publisher: Point
Waited on by: Sam
Talking to other people isn't Kate Bailey's favorite activity. She'd much rather be out on the lake, soaking up the solitude and sunshine. So when her best friend, Alana, convinces Kate to join their high school's podcast, Kate is not expecting to be chosen as the host. Now she'll have to answer calls and give advice on the air? Impossible.

But to Kate's surprise, she turns out to be pretty good at the hosting gig. Then the podcast gets in a call from an anonymous guy, asking for advice about his unnamed crush. Kate is pretty sure that the caller is gorgeous Diego Martinez, and even surer that the girl in question is Alana. Kate is excited for her friend ... until Kate herself starts to develop feelings for Diego. Suddenly, Kate finds that while doling out wisdom to others may be easy, asking for help is tougher than it looks, and following your own advice is even harder.

Kasie West's adorable story of secrets, love, and friendship is sure to win over hearts everywhere.
By now it's a well known fact that is Kasie West writes a book, I will read it. BUT! There are other reasons why I want to read this book.

  • The cover screams summer romance, and what's better than a summer romance!
  • It features an introverted protagonist. Sometimes, it's nice to see the not-so-social butterfly get selected for a role that should have gone to a social butterfly, but think of all the fun that will come from it.
  • Uh-oh, she falls for her friend's crush
  • Adorable, love, friendship - sign me up!
Kasie West books never fail to make me smile, and that is the number one reason why I have to read this book.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. You know how I am about this stuff.

    1. If you like cute contemporaries, you would enjoy her books. Pivot Point as sort of sci-fi and that duology was great too.

    1. I feel like she gas been cranking them out for the past two years. I think it is because she is writing for two different publishers. Crazy!

  8. Is it just me, or does it seem like Kasie West releases a book every other Tuesday? LOL Okay, okay, I know it's not that often but oh mu gosh that woman must write fast! I love an introverted MC. I find that way more relatable that the outgoing type.

    1. It looks like she is putting books out with two publishers now. In the past two years, she has published multiple books a year, which she hadn't done before, but it makes me happy, because I love her books.
